I treasure the moments of days gone
fleeting, unreal, wondrous to behold
yet gloomy as a murky room, dark and cold.
I treasure those moments
so distant but pleasant and
daunting and miserable.
I regret not striking while I had the chance
It is a sin not a crime
which brings zero pleasure to this dark heart of mine
